AndroMeet for Android
The same meetings, with the parts a phone browser can't do: a call that keeps running when you switch apps, and a floating window so you can look something up without leaving.
- Calls survive multitaskingAndroid cuts the camera and mic from a backgrounded browser tab. The app holds a proper call session, so replying to a message doesn't freeze you mid-sentence.
- Floating meeting windowLeave the app during a call and it shrinks to a picture-in-picture tile, with mute and hang-up on the window itself.
- Real call audioRoutes to the earpiece, speaker, or a Bluetooth headset, and pauses your music for the duration — like a phone call, not a web page.
- Meeting links open the appAn

Installing outside the Play Store. AndroMeet is distributed directly, so
your phone asks twice before trusting it. Both prompts are expected:
- Tap Download the APK. Chrome will warn "File might be harmful" — it says that about every app that doesn't come from the Play Store, whoever made it. Choose Download anyway.
- Open the file from the "File downloaded" banner, or later from Downloads.
- Android will say it isn't allowed to install from this source. Choose Settings → Allow from this source, go back, and tap Install.
- That's it — later updates are offered inside the app, so you only do this once.
Screen sharing and recording are desktop-only. No Android browser engine
implements screen capture, so Present and Record are hidden on the phone. Join
from a computer to present or record.
